NAV CANADA is seeking self-motivated and detail-oriented Junior Solutions Architects to join our technology team. These entry-level positions are ideal for someone passionate about system design, eager to learn, and ready to contribute to real-world software projects that support and shape the present and future of Air Navigation Services in Canada. You'll work closely with senior solutions architects and cross-functional teams on requirements analysis, impact assessments, system design, system performance, system integration, system safety, system security design, and strategic system enhancement planning.
Degree from a recognized university or community college with an acceptable specialization in computer science, information technology, engineering, or an acceptable combination of education, experience, and training. 1-3 years of relevant experience participating in the planning, design, or implementation of complex systems; this may include co-op placements or internships. Familiarity with interpreting requirements and developing technical documentation, such as software requirements specifications. Hands-on experience with system modeling or design tools, such as UML, SysML, or Enterprise Architect.
This is a hybrid position with a minimum requirement of 3 days per week on site.
