Join the team building and operating the AWS GovCloud environment for Tines' federal customers. You'll own infrastructure-as-code, container pipelines, and day-to-day operations while shaping technical direction and company culture. You can work fully remotely from anywhere in the US, with a preference for being based in the Greater Boston Area.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and operate the AWS GovCloud environment, from foundational network architecture through production-ready infrastructure
- Design and implement repeatable infrastructure-as-code for dedicated customer environments
- Own the container image pipeline: building, hardening, scanning, and promoting FIPS-compliant images via CI/CD
- Identify and fix availability risks; ensure environments remain healthy, observable, and auditable
- Work with assessment partners on FedRAMP authorization documentation and architecture diagrams
- Enable product engineers building features across commercial and government environments
- Define separation of compliance-restricted functions from day-to-day engineering operations
- Support self-hosted federal customers in a CMMC environment; handle escalations and on-call responsibilities
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years in infrastructure, DevOps, or cloud engineering with meaningful AWS experience
- Hands-on experience designing VPC architectures and operating AWS services in production
- Infrastructure-as-code experience (CDK or Terraform) in compliance environments
- Understanding of compliance-regulated environments (FedRAMP, FISMA, or similar)
- Comfort with container image pipelines and hardening practices
- Clear writing skills for technical documentation and assessments
- Broad technical foundation and willingness to learn across the stack
Salary Range: $210,000 - $220,000 + equity
