Mobile Engineer (React Native + Fullstack)

SuperKalam is building an AI-powered education platform similar to Duolingo. This role involves developing features across mobile and backend systems during a significant growth period for the company.

Key Responsibilities

• Build new features and initiatives in backend and mobile applications.
• Manage deployments, performance optimization, and push notifications.
• Establish tooling and run experiments, including automation workflows and AI systems.
• Participate in product and design reviews.
• Advance team technical capabilities by staying current with evolving technologies.
• Balance speed-to-production with quality considerations.
• Demonstrate smooth communication, ownership, and agility.

Core Requirements

• Strong JavaScript/TypeScript fundamentals and object-oriented programming.
• React Native expertise with high-quality UI, smooth animations, and mobile optimization knowledge.
• Backend skills: CRUD APIs, Redis, caching, PostgreSQL/MySQL, rate limiting, basic scaling and security.
• Cloud platform experience (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• System design proficiency at both low and high levels.

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years product-based startup experience.
• AI/ML background or production AI pipeline experience.
• Elasticsearch familiarity.
• Python proficiency.
• Agentic workflow development.
• Voice agent implementation.
