Peakflo seeks an engineer combining technical operations expertise with AI automation capabilities — an L2 support and automation role serving as the final escalation point for production database issues, complex migrations, and payment flow failures, while automating repeatable solutions.
L2 Investigation & Incident Response
- Own escalated production issues including database anomalies, failed transactions, and data corruption.
- Conduct deep PostgreSQL/MongoDB query analysis: explain plans, slow query logs, lock contention evaluation.
- Triage payment failures across Southeast Asian payment rails and reconciliation gaps.
- Lead complex data migrations with zero data loss tolerance.
- Author post-mortems and runbooks.
AI-Powered Automation
- Build internal AI agents automating investigation workflows.
- Deploy LLM-powered diagnostics for log summarization and anomaly detection.
- Instrument production systems with observability tooling (Langfuse, OpenLLMetry).
- Automate any manually repeated task.
Platform & Developer Tooling
- Build CLI tools, internal dashboards, and deployment scripts.
- Manage CI/CD pipelines and staging/production alignment.
- Maintain GCP infrastructure: IAM, secrets, Docker/Kubernetes deployments.
- Support ERP integrations (NetSuite, Xero) and payment provider onboarding.
Required Qualifications
- Fluency with PostgreSQL and/or MongoDB with explain plan proficiency.
- Experience debugging payment flows and financial data pipelines.
- Strong Python and bash scripting capabilities.
- Ability to own ambiguous, high-pressure incidents with limited documentation.
Preferred Qualifications
- Southeast Asian payment provider experience (GrabPay, PayNow, PromptPay, Xendit).
- AI coding agent experience (Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot).
- LLMOps exposure in production environments.
- Fintech, B2B SaaS, or finance operations background.
- NetSuite or Xero integration familiarity.
