IMC is a proprietary trading firm and market maker. This 10-week internship gives you the chance to engage with meaningful projects that could influence business outcomes, alongside classroom training covering financial markets, IMC technology, and coding fundamentals.
Core Responsibilities

- Participate in classroom training covering financial markets overview, IMC technology, and coding fundamentals.
- Build relationships with traders and technologists in a problem-solving-focused environment.
- Attend professional development sessions exploring career trajectory at IMC.
- Participate in summer events and social activities with cohort members.
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong algorithmic and data structure knowledge.
- Proficiency in Java or C++ (preferred).
- Strong analytical abilities and programmatic problem-solving interest.
- Collaborative mindset for cross-functional teamwork.
- Ability to begin June 7, 2027.
Prior financial markets experience is not required, but interest in the field is encouraged. Selected interns meeting performance standards may receive graduate position offers.
